ShadeTree is a residential community on 89 acres of former dairy land within the Ontario Ranch. The now built-out community offers 432 single family residential lots with an additional 11 acres designated for commercial development. The project included eight planning areas between the north and south phases, with residential lot sizes varying from 45’x90’ to 60’x90’.
 

X Engineering was engaged by Richland Communities to advance project entitlements and later contracted with homebuilder Landsea Homes to complete final engineering drawings and provide support during construction. The project team leveraged prior engineering and land development experience within Ontario to overcome complex engineering challenges including shallow utility points of connection, substantial soil removals, and extensive storm water constraints.
